Vocational

Hopewell Academy provides direct and comprehensive vocational training and support to students at all levels in our program. Each student is evaluated to determine where they fall in the spectrum of transition. Are they ready for independent paid employment or are they at an earlier stage where they need one-on-one job support? Have they decided upon a career interest and chosen colleges to attend or are they still at the initial stages of deciding what even interests them? Staff members use Choices 360 to do initial evaluations including a career interest inventory, ability profiler, and learning styles identifier. Students are then set on a course which will prepare them for life after high school.
