You will be able to find answers to questions such as:

  • What are the services available for individuals with special needs after leaving high school?
  • What services are available at college?
  • What should I know about the IEP/IAP process, 504 plan and the laws that protect individuals with disabilities?
  • Will my child need to live with me forever?
  • What vocational training is available for individuals that need more support after high school?
  • Is transportation available for the non-driver?
  • How does high school connect to a future career/job and postsecondary education?
  • How do I prepare for a job interview and a job?


Attendees will hear from a variety of presentations and will be able to visit with exhibitors.  The event will also include round table sessions for parents, students, educators and service providers.
